Bridge Engineering,Construction engineering, Environmental engineering,Fire protection engineering,Geotechnical engineering,General engineering, Hydraulic engineering, Materials science, Piles Engineering,Structural engineering, Surveying,Timber Engineering,Transportation engineering and Water resources engineering.

Civil Engineering is the broadest of the engineering fields. Civil engineering focuses on the infrastructure of the world which include Water works, Sewers, Dams, Power Plants, Transmission Towers/Lines, Railroads, Highways, Bridges, Tunnels, Irrigation Canals, River Navigation, Shipping Canals, Traffic Control, Mass Transit, Airport Runways, Terminals, Industrial Plant Buildings, Skyscrapers, etc. Among the important subdivisions of the field are construction engineering, irrigation engineering, transportation engineering, soils and foundation engineering, geodetic engineering, hydraulic engineering, and coastal and ocean engineering.

Civil engineers build the world’s infrastructure. In doing so, they quietly shape the history of nations around the world. Most people can not imagine life without the many contributions of civil engineers to the public’s health, safety and standard of living. Only by exploring civil engineering’s influence in shaping the world we know today, can we creatively envision the progress of our tomorrows.

Owing to tremendous growth in the Infrastructure sector in India and abroad, the demand of Civil Engineers has been on rise .To fulfill the growing demand and to cater to the engineering needs of the nation, the Institute offers B.Tech degree course in Civil Engineering which is a four year engineering degree programme of UP Technical University. The undergraduate program provides rigorous analytical studies along with realistic practical solutions.

The latest surveying techniques with Total Stations and Computer aided preparation of survey maps, GPS, GIS, and Remote Sensing are the important features of the curriculum. The teaching of structural analysis with CAD Drawing and Design using latest softwares along with instrumentation and field studies provide the all elements for producing a perfect Civil engineer. The gain from practical experience from field studies to Building industries [real estate] , Bridges ,Highways, Flyovers, Dams and Irrigation structures are top priorities of the academic programme.
